An instagrammable pop-up experience designed to increase brand awareness, educate consumers on the simplicity of investing in recognisable brands and to drive sign-ups to a series of eToro workshops.

the challenge

To create an experiential pop-up event that raises awareness and educates consumers on the ease of investing in well-known brands through the eToro platform. The activation amplified the wider OOH and influencer activity around the ‘Invest in the Brands you Love’ campaign. Additionally, a key metric was to drive sign ups to eToro’s educational workshops.

the solution

Our strategic approach was built upon creating four instagrammable ‘passion pods’, ensuring there was an area that appealed to everyone regardless of their interests. The pods included ‘Sports Fanatic’, ‘Gaming Boss’, ‘Lifestyle Guru’ and ‘Tech Genius’, with popular brands from each of these sectors being brought-to-life within the spaces.

The purpose behind these defined spaces was to demonstrate to consumers that no matter how little they knew about investing, there are well-known, trusted brands that they frequently use in day-to-day life that they can easily invested in.

To drive additional reach, influencers that have used the platform attended the experience to amplify the activation via social and several football ambassadors from clubs sponsored by eToro took part in an onsite Q&A.

the impact

The experience was a hive of activity over the three days it was open and resulted in in a huge number of onsite sign-ups to the eToro workshops (a wait list had to be put in place!). The brand saw a spike in their brand recognition metrics due to the social and PR engagement around the activation.
