shopify paris retail week 

Shopify asked us to concept and produce an eye-catching stand for Paris Retail Week that could be reused across multiple EMEA-wide trade exhibitions.

the challenge

To design and build an engaging, modular exhibition booth that would work across a variety of events with different sized footprints. Shopify wanted to stand out from the rest of the exhibitors, attract consumers to the space and importantly, drive lead generation.

The booth needed to clearly communicate the Shopify ecosystem and hero their local merchants in a simple, fresh and exciting way.

the solution

Consumer flow and engagement were first and foremost in the design process, which led to a holistically thought-out and scalable stand that was open on all four sides, inviting consumers in and encouraging interaction.

The overall aesthetic of our booth resembled a minimalist store. This ensured that the carefully sourced local Shopify merchants really took centre stage amongst the Shopify eco-system. The tactile nature of this area added a unique dimension that set it apart from traditional exhibition stands.

We chose the brighter tones from Shopify’s colour palate to ensure the look and feel was fresh and exciting, whilst using clever cues to display information that sparked consumer interest.

the impact

The stand was hugely busy across all x3 days of the Paris Retail Week expo, with over 900+ new Shopify leads generated.

Lots of positive feedback was received on the booth design from consumers, the media, and the Shopify client.

Assets from the stand will now continue to be reused and deployed in different guises at multiple events ongoing.
